O’Brien Custom Homes launched in 2015 with the single focus of designing and building one of a kind homes. We create unique, custom residences that complement the existing neighborhood and elevate the streetscape. Working with the Bay Area’s most talented architects, landscape architects, contractors and tradespeople, our goal is to build classic homes with smart floor plans for modern families.
SUSIE O’BRIEN FRIMEL

Susie began working in the home building industry in 1991 for SummerHill Homes and The Ryness Company. She soon joined O’Brien Homes in marketing and sales and eventually became Marketing Director. As Marketing Director for their new home communities, her focus was on product design, community branding, strategic marketing, and sales. Susie has been involved in a wide array of new home communities throughout the Bay Area from attached condominiums for first-time buyers to luxury estates. She has received several awards in the home building industry including Marketing Director of the Year by the Northern California Homebuilders Association. In 2015, she founded O’Brien Custom Homes with Dennis O’Brien to focus exclusively on designing and building high-end, one-of-a-kind luxury homes on the San Francisco Peninsula. Susie also consults clients through the design process and advises them during their home renovations and new builds. Susie stays active in the community as a board member of Catholic Charities San Francisco and Child & Family Institute in Menlo Park. She holds a BA in History from UCLA and a California Real Estate Salesperson License.
